Our business is supported by experienced human resources who have been involved in Climate Solutions, Biodiversity Conservation & Management, Human-centered Development and Strategic Research & Innovation in Sustainable Natural Resources Management for over a decade.
2007
PT Gaia Eko Daya Buana was established in 2007 with a core focus on conservation and sustainable development. In its early days, Gaia offered consultancy services in library catalog digitization as well as mapping and GIS. From the beginning, Gaia emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to support conservation efforts and sustainable development initiatives.
2015
In 2015, a shift in Gaia's shareholder structure brought a significant infusion of energy and resources, enabling the company to take on larger and longer-term projects. Gaia sharpened its focus on sustainability, seeking solutions in the forestry and plantation sectors that integrated environmental, social, and sustainability considerations into development practices.
2019
Gaia’s transformation continued with the establishment of its first subsidiary. In 2019, PT Digdaya Citta Selaras was founded with a mission to enhance individual and organizational capacity for driving development. This move marked Gaia’s expanded role in the human resources development sector.
2022
In 2022, Gaia launched its second subsidiary, PT Gaia Adhi Pranacitra (Anama), focusing on social assessment through an innovative approach called Socionature, which integrates social and ecological dimensions.
2022
Later in the same year, Gaia established its third subsidiary, PT Gaia Restorasi Ekologi Nusantara (GreEn), specializing in forest rehabilitation and environmental assessments. This company aims to support ecosystem restoration efforts that are both sustainable and socially impactful. With the birth of this subsidiary, Gaia also shifted its core service focus to climate solution consultancy and expanded its reach across Southeast Asia.
2024
Through our new logo, we visually express our commitment to driving sustainable impact via innovative environmental solutions, expert consulting, and strong community collaboration. Our team brings over a decade of experience, integrating advanced technologies with deep insights into climate and biodiversity needs. We craft tailored strategies that empower both ecosystems and local communities. Guided by integrity and accountability, we partner closely with clients to deliver meaningful, long-term environmental and social benefits.
